Battery life depends on your chosen temperature. At a continuous 80°C (the highest setting), a full charge lasts approximately 2 hours. At the lower settings between 30°C and 70°C, you can expect 4 or more hours, depending on exactly which temperature you choose — lower settings draw less power and run longer. If you need heating for a longer stretch, choosing a moderate setting like 50–60°C rather than the maximum 80°C will get you noticeably more runtime.

WarmByte is not leak-proof because its lid does not form an airtight seal. Keep the pressure relief valve closed while heating, then lift it to release steam before opening the lid. Always carry the lunch box upright.

A full charge takes about 4.5–5 hours with any phone charger or power bank rated 10W (5V 2A) or higher, so we recommend charging overnight. The adapter is not included. Lower-power chargers and laptop USB ports will take much longer. We recommend giving it a full charge before first use so you get accurate runtime from the start.

No, but it is fine to use. WarmByte charges at its own fixed speed, so any 10W or higher charger, including 33W or 67W fast chargers, gives the same charging time.

No. Once charged, WarmByte heats entirely on its built-in 7200mAh battery, so there’s no need to keep it plugged in while it heats. Charge it, unplug it, set your temperature and take it anywhere.

Only the stainless steel container, the removable partition, the inner lid and the upper lid can be washed with water — the stainless steel container, removable partition and both lids are dishwasher-safe. The host body, heating base and control panel (which house the battery and heating electronics) must never be washed, submerged in water or placed in a dishwasher — wipe these with a damp cloth only.

Long-press the power button to switch WarmByte on or off. Once it's on, press the power button to change the temperature — each press steps up from 30°C to a maximum of 80°C, and you'll feel warmth building under the box as soon as a setting is chosen. Setting a timer is optional: after setting the temperature, long-press the timer button, then select how long you want it to heat — 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 or 180 minutes, or 4 hours. If you don't set a timer, WarmByte keeps heating until you switch it off or the battery runs out. A countdown is shown on-screen for the 30–180 minute range (a countdown display for the 4-hour option is coming in a future software update). A single indicator light shows the unit is powered on.

Yes. WarmByte comes with a removable partition made of 304 food-grade stainless steel. Place it in the container before adding food to keep two foods apart, or take it out when you want the full space for one dish.

WarmByte is recommended for ages 7 and up. Since the product involves heating elements and a control panel, we recommend adult supervision for younger children.
